BACKGROUND : The Indian pharma industry is currently at the crossroads and with the advent of the new patent regime, there are both challenges and opportunities, for the future. All relevant segments like drug manufacturers, biotech players, pharma machinery manufacturers and analytical organizations would have to work in tandem, to take full advantage of this emerging scenario.
